The 天美影音直播 Owl Card
- As a new student, you will be required to have the official 天美影音直播 identification card: the Owl Card.
- As a 天美影音直播 student, you are expected to carry your Owl Card with you at all times. It is important.
This College ID has many purposes, including:
- Getting materials from the Mason Library
- Access to your meal plan and any cash accounts on your card
- Admission to the Recreation Center
- If you live on campus, it is your 鈥渒ey鈥 to the front door of your residence hall
Your Owl Card will be printed in advance, and it will be waiting for you at check-in on Move-In Day. But first, we鈥檙e going to need your photo!
Get picture ready
You will have your Owl Card photo taken at the start of your morning during Owl Orientation.
Take your picture (only students who receive an email from us should upload a photo)
If you have trouble submitting your photo using the online portal or the app, you may email it to owlcard@keene.edu from your Keene State email address.
You will need to submit an acceptable photo online using the or on your phone using the CBORD GET Mobile App. The deadline for photo submission is midnight Friday, July 11, 2025.
Format
Please upload a photo that was taken in 鈥渓andscape鈥 mode. If you don鈥檛, chances are pretty good that your 鈥減ortrait鈥 mode photo will be rejected. This is because the portal is programmed to crop based on a horizontally formatted image. A vertical (portrait) image will get rotated and cropped incorrectly. Landscape, please!
Lighting
Be sure the photo you submit is exposed properly. Check your lighting source (if you鈥檙e not using flash). If the light is coming from behind, your face will be too dark. If it鈥檚 coming from the side, the lighting will be uneven and your face will be too dark on one half and too light on the other half. Check your camera or cell phone settings before you take the photo. Use a flash, even in daylight. Take a good look at the photo before you submit it.
Senior Portraits and Selfies
We鈥檙e sure your senior portrait is very nice, but it belongs on the wall or in your grandparents鈥 brag book. Those vacation shots and wedding party photos are no doubt equally as nice, but please don鈥檛 submit them. Selfies sometimes work, but it鈥檚 best if you have someone else take the shot. Remember how your photo will be used鈥攖o identify you!
Other Important Do鈥檚鈥
- Keep the hats and sunglasses off of your head for your Owl Card photo.
- Smile or don鈥檛 smile鈥攊t鈥檚 up to you鈥攂ut please, no goofy faces.
- You don鈥檛 need to wait until the deadline to upload your photo. Do it now, check it off your to-do list, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
- Be sure you鈥檝e activated your 天美影音直播 email first. You鈥檒l need it to access the Owl Card Portal.
